Kim Overes (Owner)

I am a graduate of the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition and have been passionate about nutrition and a wholistic lifestyle for over 15 years. I have been with Naturistas since 2012 and transitioned to the owner in 2016. I feel so blessed that I get to hang out in such a cool place for many hours a day and share my passion with my colleagues and the customers that feel more like friends.

One of my favorite past times includes running and I also enjoy experimenting with different recipes in the kitchen.

Shauna Schmid (Customer Care Associate)

Originally from the small farming community of Myrnam AB, Shauna migrated to Lethbridge in 2002 where it has been her home ever since. She attended the University of Lethbridge where she graduated with a Bachelor of Management.

Her interest in health and wellness began when she started working at Lethbridge Fitness. After expanding her role to part owner, she spent many years growing and nurturing the relationships between the staff and members of the gym. Living out in the country contributed to Shauna’s love for being outside, especially her love for gardening and canning. In addition to being outdoors, she spends her free time playing volleyball, curling and golf. Since selling her business, Shauna has been more dedicated than ever to learning how health and wellness can influence and aid in the reversal of disease.

She is proud to admit that her knowledge of food and supplements has helped keep her Hashimoto symptoms at bay. Shauna is very passionate about helping other people find healthy solutions to their everyday living, which is why she believes Naturistas is the perfect place to call home for this stage in her journey.
